Silvia Fernandez

MS, MFT, LPC-S

 

Hello, I am Silvia Fernandez, a Licensed Professional Counselor by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. I hold a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Community Counseling from John Brown University. The graduate program I completed is accredited to meet the standards of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).

 

I am bilingual in Spanish and English; I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Minor in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My formal education has prepared me to work with individuals, marriages, families, and groups.

 

Apart from my professional education, I have been married for 38 years, I am a mother of 3 adult children and a grandmother to 5 grandchildren. My hobbies include reading, gardening, and having family time.

Janet Gomez

MS, LAC

 

Hello I am Janet Gomez, a Licensed Associate Counselor by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. I hold a Master's (MS) degree in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis in Play Therapy from John Brown University.

 

I am bilingual in English and Spanish; I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Spanish from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My formal education and work experience has prepared me to work with individuals, children, parents, families and groups.

 

I am a wife, a mother of two, and an aunt to amazing nephews and nieces. My hobbies include photography, being outdoors, finding new places to eat and traveling. I enjoy spending time with family.

Hello! I am Viviana Villegas, and I am a Mexican American with a deep appreciation for both American and Latino cultures. Currently, I am a student pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Magnolia, Arkansas, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

My passion lies in helping individuals recognize their true potential and empowering them to overcome any hardships they may face. Having personally navigated various challenges in my life, I am committed to supporting you on your journey to recovery. I want you to know that you are not alone in this process.

 

I am bilingual in English and Spanish, with eight years of experience working in elementary schools with children facing disabilities and behavioral issues. 

 

I am a mother of three children, and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling with them to visit new places.
